Full and warming, delivering prune, butterscotch, and toasted nut with excellent balance

Finish

Incredibly long finish with dried fruit, nut, and a warming spice that lingers beautifully

Taylor's delivers a fortified of real quality here — Touriga Nacional at its best, offering prestige at £87.50.

Farah Abboud VIPsAllowed — Interesting salty edge
7/10

Picked this up on holiday in Porto and finally cracked it open last weekend. What surprised me was this almost salty, mineral quality on the nose — not what I expected from a port at all. The dried fruit and spice on the finish just kept going and going. Good stuff, would buy again if it wasn't £87.

9/10

I don't know loads about port but I know what I like and this is unreal. So rich and warming without being sickly sweet. The toasted nut flavour is my favourite bit. Saw it on a menu at a restaurant and then tracked down a bottle for home.

Astrid Nilsen VIPsAllowed — Perfect after dinner
7/10

The guy at the wine shop recommended this when I said I wanted something special for a dinner party. It's proper old-school vintage port — big prune and molasses flavours, really coats your mouth. Went brilliantly with stilton and walnuts at the end of the meal.
