Simon Hughes VIPsAllowed - Really good but hard to justify the price
8/10

The wine shop guy talked me into this and yeah it's lovely — the burnt caramel and walnut flavours are genuinely complex and interesting. But £139 is a lot of port and I've had colheitas at half that price that were nearly as good. Would I buy it again? Probably not, but I'm glad I tried it once.

Victor Osei VIPsAllowed - Best port I've ever had
10/10

My wife and I tried this at a port tasting event and immediately tracked down a bottle. It's so smooth for 20% — you genuinely don't feel the alcohol at all. The finish just goes on and on, dried apricot and honey notes that stick around forever. We paired it with a cheese board and it was perfect.

Kofi Asante VIPsAllowed - Birthday treat that delivered
9/10

Bought this for my dad's 50th — he was born in '75 so it felt right. The butterscotch and fig thing going on is incredible, we were all passing the glass around trying to figure out what we were tasting. At £139 it's not cheap but for a wine literally from the year he was born, felt worth every penny.

Astrid Nilsen VIPsAllowed - Proper after-dinner wine
9/10

Had this after Christmas dinner and it was the highlight honestly. Really rich with dried fruit and almond, plus this sort of savoury soy sauce thing that sounds weird but actually works brilliantly. Sipped it slowly over about two hours and it just kept giving. Special occasion stuff for sure.
