Farah Abboud VIPsAllowed — Perfect with cheese and chocolate
8/10

Had this at a friend's place with a cheese board and some dark chocolate and it was amazing. Really intense dried fruit character, almost like liquid Christmas cake. The sweetness is there but it's balanced — didn't feel heavy even after a couple of glasses. Already ordered a bottle for myself.

Astrid Nilsen VIPsAllowed — Christmas dessert wine sorted forever
9/10

Bought this for Christmas dinner to go with the pudding and honestly it stole the show. So rich and sweet but not in a sickly way — loads of dried fruit flavour and it just lingers beautifully. At £38 it's not cheap but it's a proper treat and the bottle lasts ages since you only pour small glasses. Will be buying again next December for sure.

Ruth Banks VIPsAllowed — Nice but maybe not £38 nice
7/10

The wine shop guy recommended this when I said I wanted something sweet for after dinner. It's good, really concentrated raisin-y flavour and smooth, but I'm not sure I'd pay nearly forty quid again when there are decent PX sherries for half the price. That said the finish is really clean and it doesn't leave that sticky feeling some sweet wines do.
