We cracked this open on New Year's Eve and it was a hit. Beautiful salmon pink colour, tastes like strawberries and fresh pastry somehow. The finish is really dry and clean which I loved — not sweet at all. Billecart-Salmon clearly know what they're doing.

Picked this up at Majestic for a dinner party. It's a well-made champagne — lovely fine bubbles, almondy nose, nice citrus at the end. The Pinot Noir really comes through with the red fruit. I just think there are comparable bottles out there for a tenner less.

The wine shop guy recommended this and it's nice enough — peachy flavour, good fizz. But for £42 I expected to be more blown away? I've had Spanish cavas at half the price that I enjoyed just as much. Would maybe try it again on offer.
