Gosset delivers a champagne of real quality here — Chardonnay at its best, offering prestige at £220.00.

9/10

Bought this for our 10th anniversary and wow, it really felt special. The bubbles are incredibly fine and there's this lovely strawberry and brioche thing going on that just works. At £220 it's not something I'd buy every week but for a big occasion it's absolutely worth it.

A mate brought this to a dinner party and I was genuinely impressed — really elegant rosé champagne with a long finish that keeps you going back for more. Got those almond and citrus notes the fancy descriptions mention and they're spot on. Would I pay £220 myself though? Probably not when there are solid options at half the price.

Marcus Blackwell VIPsAllowed — Seriously good rosé champers

Had this at a restaurant and liked it so much I tracked down a bottle. The 2008 vintage has had loads of time to develop and you can tell — there's a toasty, pastry quality alongside the fruit that younger champagnes just don't have. Chalky dry finish keeps it fresh. Not an everyday buy at that price but it's the real deal.
