Kofi Asante VIPsAllowed — Perfect after-dinner sipper
8/10

Bought this for Christmas dinner and it was the star of the evening. The caramel and nutty flavours are gorgeous, and it's sweet without being sickly. Everyone kept going back for more, even my dad who normally only drinks beer.

Had this at a friend's house and thought it was decent. Nice caramel and fig notes but honestly at 20% ABV I was expecting something with a bit more punch. It's smooth though, I'll give it that. Might wait for a deal before buying my own bottle.

The wine shop guy recommended this when I said I wanted something for cheese night. It's really nice — loads of dried fruit and a warming finish that sticks around. At nearly £29 it's not cheap for a weeknight but it's a treat.
