Benjamin Ross VIPsAllowed — This is what champagne should taste like
8/10

Had this at a friend's house and immediately had to find out what it was. Zero dosage so there's no sweetness hiding anything — just pure clean fruit and this savoury, almost chalky finish that lasts ages. Been getting more into natural-style champagnes lately and Ruppert Leroy is the real deal.

The guy at my local wine shop talked me into this as a 'proper grower champagne'. It's definitely different from your usual Moët — much more minerally and serious. Took me a few sips to get into it honestly. Good stuff but at this price I'd probably want something a bit more crowd-pleasing for a dinner party.

Bought this for my wife's birthday and we were both blown away. It's bone dry with no added sugar which I loved — really crisp and almost salty? The bubbles are fine and it just keeps going in your mouth. Pricey at £80 but for a celebration it felt worth it.
