View All (8)It's a solid wine, don't get me wrong. Lots of blackcurrant and a nice smoky finish that hangs around. But for over thirty quid I'd probably want it to be a tiny bit more exciting? I've had Rhône blends at £20 that come close.
24 March 2026Nice enough Vacqueyras. Dark fruit, bit of liquorice, the usual suspects for this style. Tannins are well behaved and the finish is long. I just feel like you can find similar quality for a bit less if you shop around. Not bad though, wouldn't turn it down.
15 March 2026Recommended by a friend who knows her wines and she was spot on. The blackcurrant and leather combo is gorgeous, and it's got this lovely cedar warmth on the finish. Shared it over a Sunday roast and we ended up ordering two more bottles. At £31.50 it feels like a bargain for this quality honestly.
