Luciano Bianchi VIPsAllowed — Really interesting white port
8/10

Got recommended this by someone at a tasting event and I'm glad I listened. It's way more complex than I expected from a white port — loads of dried fruit and a nutty thing going on that I really liked. The finish just goes on and on which is class. Only knocking a point off because I wish it came in a half bottle too, 19% means I can't casually drink the whole thing on a Tuesday.

Henrik Larsen VIPsAllowed — Birthday treat that delivered
10/10

My wife got me this for my birthday after seeing it somewhere online. Honestly one of the best things I've drunk this year. That caramel and roasted almond combo is gorgeous and there's an acidity that stops it being too sweet. We had it after dinner with some dark chocolate and both just sat there grinning. Already ordered another bottle.

Connor McBride VIPsAllowed — Good but took me a minute

Not gonna lie, first sip I wasn't sure about this. It's quite intense and the raisin flavour hit me harder than I expected. Second glass the next evening though it clicked — the dried apricot and that long spicy finish are genuinely lovely. Bit pricey at £20+ for a port I wasn't sure about initially, but I can see why people rate it highly. Would probably buy again now I know what I'm getting into.
