Luna Chavez VIPsAllowed — Really good but I'm not sure I get it
8/10

My partner is the wine nerd, not me, and they were raving about this. I can tell it's high quality and the flavours are really interesting and layered, but I'm honestly not sure I can appreciate it enough to justify £499. It does taste different from any other Champagne I've had though. The finish is crazy long.

Noah Williams VIPsAllowed — Stunning old Champagne
9/10

Had this at a wine dinner hosted by a friend who collects older bottles. I've had a lot of Champagne but nothing quite like this — it's so expressive on the nose, really hits you straight away. Still has great acidity after 40+ years which blew my mind. Not something I could afford regularly but glad I got to try it.

Idris Ibrahim VIPsAllowed — Exceptional wine, brutal price tag
7/10

Tried a glass at a tasting event. It's undeniably well-made — great structure, lovely evolved fruit character, and a finish that doesn't quit. But at this price point I expected to be completely floored and I wasn't quite there. I've had younger vintage Champagnes at a third of the price that excited me more. Still a solid experience though.
