I don't know much about champagne but I know what I like and this is incredible. So smooth and creamy with this nutty thing going on at the end that just stays with you. Bought a second bottle the next day, no regrets.

The wine shop guy recommended this when I said I wanted something nicer than Moët for our anniversary. It's good — proper toasty almond smell and a crisp apple flavour that I really liked. Just not sure it's £40 good when you can get decent champagne for less.

Had this at a dinner party with oysters and smoked salmon and it was a perfect match. There's a chalky, almost salty quality to it that works brilliantly with food. The blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir really comes through. Would buy again but probably keeping it for special dinners rather than a Tuesday night.
