Freya Lindqvist VIPsAllowed — Bit pricey for what it is

The wine shop guy recommended this and it's fine, perfectly nice champagne. But pushing £47 for a non-vintage? I've had Crémants at half the price that I enjoyed just as much. The lemony finish is nice though.

Tip: don't rush this one. First couple of sips were nice enough but after 10 minutes in the glass it really opened up — lemon curd, fresh bread, nectarine. The finish goes on forever. Really impressed for a NV champagne.

Bought this for NYE and it was a massive hit. Really creamy with a lovely bready thing going on, and the bubbles are super fine. At £47 it's not cheap but honestly felt worth it for a celebration.
