Bought this for my wife's 40th and we both loved it. Really creamy with those toasty, bready notes — almost like fresh croissants in a glass. At £62 it's not cheap but for a special occasion Champagne it felt worth every penny.

Tried this at a friend's house and thought it was lovely — very smooth with a nutty, almondy thing going on. Went and looked it up afterwards though and £62 is a lot when you can get solid Champagne for £40. Would drink it again happily but probably wouldn't buy it myself.

We cracked this open on New Year's Eve and it was a hit. Brioche and citrus on the nose, dry but not austere, and the finish just goes on and on. Third time we've bought Palmer & Co now and they haven't let us down yet.
