It's Moet, so you know what you're getting — reliable, well-made Champagne. Nice bubbles, good acidity, pleasant enough finish. I just wish it was a few pounds cheaper for a half bottle. Does the job for a Tuesday treat though.

Always heard Moet was THE Champagne brand so maybe my expectations were too high. It's perfectly pleasant — dry, clean finish, decent bubbles. But for the price of a half bottle I thought I'd be more wowed. My mate brought a £15 Crémant to our dinner party last month that honestly gave this a run for its money.

Had this at a restaurant first and then tracked down the half bottle to have at home. It's well balanced with a nice dry finish that doesn't leave any weird aftertaste. Not going to change your life but it's a dependable Champagne. The 12.5% is sensible too — you can enjoy it without it creeping up on you.
