My father-in-law turned 80 this year so we tracked down an 80 year old port to match. The whole table went silent after the first sip. The fruit is still there after all those decades which blew my mind, and the finish just goes on and on. Worth every penny of the £575 for a moment like that.

Every time I went back to the glass it smelled different, kept finding new things. The finish lasts forever. Already planning what milestone justifies buying another one.

Opened this for New Year's with three mates who are all into wine. We just sat there after the first taste. The alcohol is completely hidden at 20% — dangerously drinkable for something this strong. The way the flavours develop and the finish just hangs there is something else. Gift box presentation is lovely too.
