View All (5)A friend brought this to dinner and it was good, don't get me wrong. Clean finish, nicely balanced, proper champagne feel to it. But for £55 I think I expected a bit more excitement? I've had bottles at £35-40 that made me just as happy. Would drink it again if someone else was buying though.
5 March 2026Opened this at a dinner party and everyone commented on it. It's confident stuff — poured it and the smell hit you straight away without having to wait. 12.5% so nobody was falling over after a couple of glasses either. Clean finish that doesn't hang around being weird. Would buy again for hosting.
15 January 2026Bought this for my 40th and wow, glad I did. Really expressive nose straight away — you don't have to swirl it around for ages waiting for something to happen. The acidity keeps it fresh and interesting, and I kept finding new things in it as the night went on. At £55 it's not cheap but for a premier cru champagne on a special occasion, I'd say it's fair.
