Connor McBride VIPsAllowed — Lovely wine, need to know what you're getting
8/10

So this is a Spatlese which means it's off-dry, just so nobody's surprised. The sweetness is really well balanced by the acidity though, nothing cloying about it. Clean finish that lingers forever. The wine shop guy pointed me to this and I'm glad he did.

Marcus Blackwell VIPsAllowed — Really good but hard to justify the price
8/10

Had this at a restaurant and it was gorgeous — beautifully balanced, long finish, proper depth to it. But £125 a bottle? I've had Saar Rieslings at half the price that got me 80% of the way there. Still, it's a treat if you can swing it.

Yuki Nakamura VIPsAllowed — Birthday splurge that delivered
9/10

Bought this for my 40th and honestly it was worth every penny of that £125. The acidity is electric — like biting into a green apple but way more refined. The finish just goes on and on, we were still talking about it the next morning.
