View All (4)Bought this for my 40th and honestly it was the highlight of the night. Zero dosage so it's bone dry — if you like your champagne on the sweeter side this isn't for you, but I thought it was brilliant. Really expressive nose straight out of the bottle, didn't need to sit around waiting for it to open up. At £76 it's not cheap but for a special occasion champagne I'd absolutely buy it again.
20 January 2026Picked this up after reading about Clandestin online and it didn't disappoint. We had it with roast chicken and it was a perfect match — enough body from the blanc de noirs style to stand up to the food but still crisp and clean. At 12.5% it's not going to knock you sideways either which is a plus for a weeknight. Would recommend if you like dry champagne.
10 January 2026The wine shop guy recommended this as something a bit different and I can see why — it's a blanc de noirs so it's all about the fruit, and you definitely get that richness on the palate. Good acidity too, kept it fresh. My only gripe is £76.50 is a lot when you can get solid champagne for half that. It's good, just not sure it's twice-as-good good.
