9/10

Bought this for my 40th and honestly it was the highlight of the night. Zero dosage so it's bone dry — if you like your champagne on the sweeter side this isn't for you, but I thought it was brilliant. Really expressive nose straight out of the bottle, didn't need to sit around waiting for it to open up. At £76 it's not cheap but for a special occasion champagne I'd absolutely buy it again.

Picked this up after reading about Clandestin online and it didn't disappoint. We had it with roast chicken and it was a perfect match — enough body from the blanc de noirs style to stand up to the food but still crisp and clean. At 12.5% it's not going to knock you sideways either which is a plus for a weeknight. Would recommend if you like dry champagne.

The wine shop guy recommended this as something a bit different and I can see why — it's a blanc de noirs so it's all about the fruit, and you definitely get that richness on the palate. Good acidity too, kept it fresh. My only gripe is £76.50 is a lot when you can get solid champagne for half that. It's good, just not sure it's twice-as-good good.

Had this at a friend's dinner party and immediately asked what it was. It's brut nature so completely dry with no added sugar, which I loved — you can really taste what's actually going on with the wine. There's a depth to it that kept me going back for another sip. The finish sticks around too, in a good way.
