Ingrid Holm VIPsAllowed — Really impressed for the price
8/10

Bought this as a gift for my sister's birthday (hence the gift box) and she opened it that night so I got to try some too. Really bright and fresh with a lovely crisp finish that kept me going back for more. For under £35 this is genuinely good Champagne — not just "good for the price" but actually good.

Gianluca Ferro VIPsAllowed — Nice but expected more
6/10

The wine shop guy recommended this as a step up from supermarket fizz and yeah it is better, but at £33.75 I was hoping to be a bit more wowed. It's clean and balanced with decent fruit but I've had Crémants at half the price that gave me more excitement. The gift box is a nice touch though.

Zara Al-Hassan VIPsAllowed — My new go-to Champagne
8/10

Had this at a restaurant a few months ago and tracked it down online. There's a real depth to it that unfolds the longer it sits in the glass — layers of fruit and this lovely precise acidity that keeps everything fresh. Ayala don't get enough attention compared to the big houses but they're doing seriously good work here.
