Ethan Cooper VIPsAllowed - The wine shop guy nailed it
8/10

Asked for something to go with a chocolate tart and the guy in the shop recommended this. Perfect match honestly. Really rich dried fruit flavours and it's got this clean finish that stops it being too cloying. Will definitely buy again.

Rosa Paredes VIPsAllowed - Best PX I've had at this price
9/10

I've tried a few Pedro Ximenez sherries and this Fernando de Castilla is up there. The dried fruit aromas hit you straight away and the palate has proper depth to it, layers of flavour that build as you drink. Only 14% too so you can actually have a couple of glasses without falling over.

Mia Sundberg VIPsAllowed - Decent but I expected more
6/10

Picked this up on a Spain trip expecting something special. It's fine — nice dried fruit nose, balanced sweetness, does what a PX should do. But for nearly thirty quid I've had comparable ones for less. Not bad by any means, just didn't blow me away.

Farah Abboud VIPsAllowed - Solid PX, not the cheapest though
7/10

I like PX sherries and this is a good one. Nice balance between sweet and acidic so it doesn't feel like drinking syrup. At thirty quid it's not an everyday buy but it's decent quality for the price.

James Okafor VIPsAllowed - A bit much for me
6/10

My partner loves sweet wines so I got this for her birthday. It's well made and she enjoyed it, but personally I found it quite intense. If you're into dessert wines you'll probably rate it higher than me.

Finn OBrien VIPsAllowed - Great after-dinner sipper
7/10

Had this at a friend's dinner party and tracked it down online afterwards. It's sweet but has enough acidity to keep things interesting. Nice complexity to it — you keep noticing different things as you sip. Works brilliantly instead of dessert.

Nils Bergman VIPsAllowed - Poured it over ice cream, no regrets
7/10

Saw someone on Instagram pour PX over vanilla ice cream so obviously I had to try it. This one works really well for that — concentrated and sweet but clean tasting. Drinking it neat is good too, the finish lingers nicely without being sticky.

Annika Svensson VIPsAllowed - Christmas pudding in a glass
8/10

Bought this for Christmas dessert and it was a hit. Tastes like liquid raisins and figs — really intense dried fruit flavours but not as heavy as I expected. The sweetness is there but it doesn't coat your mouth, which I appreciated after a big meal.
