Haruki Sato VIPsAllowed - Good not great
6/10

I'm still figuring out what I like with sweet wines and this was decent. Really fragrant when you open it, lots of peach and raisin on the nose. Found it a bit too sweet for sipping on its own though — needed some cheese or something to balance it out. Not bad by any means.

6/10

The wine shop guy recommended this and it's fine — pleasant enough, nice peachy smell and sweet without being syrupy. But £25.50 feels steep when you're only pouring small glasses. I've had Muscats I liked just as much for less.

It's a solid dessert wine. Sweet and honeyed but not sickly, which is what I always worry about with these. The apricot flavour is really nice and there's enough acidity to stop it being too much. Fair enough for the price.

8/10

Bought this for a dinner party and it was the star of the evening. Really fragrant, like lychee and peach — everyone kept asking what it was. Lovely with a fruit tart we had for dessert. Would definitely buy again at £25.

So smooth and easy to drink for a dessert wine. It's all tropical fruit and honey but somehow stays really fresh? Bought it on a whim and now I need to stop myself ordering a case. Goes amazingly with blue cheese by the way.

Got this as a birthday present for my mum who loves sweet wines. She absolutely loved it — said the rose water and lychee notes were gorgeous. At 15% ABV it packs a punch too, so a little goes a long way.

Herbert Muller VIPsAllowed - Best dessert wine I've tried in ages
9/10

Saw this on a restaurant menu and ordered a glass on a whim. The finish just goes on and on — honeyed stone fruit that lingers beautifully. Tracked down a bottle afterwards. Genuinely impressed, especially for under £30.
