Valentina Ricci VIPsAllowed — My new go-to for celebrations

The guy at Majestic recommended this when I said I wanted a rosé champagne that wasn't too sweet. He was spot on. There's actual depth to it — fruity but balanced, and it doesn't taste sugary like some pink fizz does. Goes down dangerously easy for 12.5%.

I've tried a few Taittinger bottles over the years and this rosé is gorgeous. Really expressive on the nose, proper champagne smell if that makes sense, and the taste matches up. Served it ice cold with some nibbles before Christmas dinner and everyone commented on it. The glasses that come with it are decent quality too.

Bought this for my wife's 40th and we were both really impressed. Lovely pink colour, proper fizz, and it tastes so clean and fresh without being sharp. The glass set is a nice touch too — felt like a proper gift rather than just grabbing a bottle. At £68 it's not cheap but for a special occasion it's absolutely worth it.
