Devon Marsh VIPsAllowed — Stole the show at our dinner party

Brought this to a friend's dinner party and everyone kept asking about it. It's got this gorgeous lemon curd richness but stays dry and crisp at the same time. Even my mate who normally just drinks beer said it was amazing. Ruinart clearly know what they're doing.

My wife got me this for my 40th and wow, it's special. Really creamy with that toasty almond thing going on, but still fresh and citrusy. The bubbles are super fine too, not like prosecco where it's all fizz. Pricey at nearly a hundred quid but for a milestone birthday, absolutely worth it.

Asked for something a bit special for our anniversary and got recommended this. It's 100% Chardonnay so it's lighter and more mineral-y than what I usually go for. The toasted almond flavour is really nice and it stays with you after each sip. We had it with some seafood pasta and it was perfect.
