View All (5)Saw this recommended online and gave it a go. It's a solid red — dark berries, bit of herb and spice, nothing offensive. Goes well with pasta and cheese. Not sure it's worth over twenty quid every time but I wouldn't turn it down if someone opened one.
18 February 2026Had this at a friend's place and liked it enough to track down a bottle myself. It's got a proper weight to it and the tannins are smooth, not that dry grippy thing I hate. The bramble and spice thing on the finish is lovely. Decent midweek treat.
16 February 2026The wine shop guy recommended this as something different from the usual Malbec and it's alright. Nice enough dark fruit and some herby notes but honestly for £22.50 I expected a bit more wow factor. Would probably try a different Dolcetto next time to compare.
