Jorge Castillo VIPsAllowed — Perfect after-dinner sipper
8/10

Bought the half bottle to try with some stilton after Christmas dinner and it was a real hit. Smooth as anything, no burn at all even at 20%. The nutty, caramelly flavours just keep going. Would definitely buy a full bottle next time.

Gianluca Ferro VIPsAllowed — Nice but £25 for a half bottle?
6/10

Got this as part of a port tasting we did with friends. It's good — clean, well balanced, proper tawny character. But nearly £25 for a half bottle is a bit steep when you can get decent tawnies for less. I'd want the full size at that price point.

I've always been more of a ruby port person but tried this at a friend's house and honestly it's changed my mind. There's so much going on — dried fruit, a bit of nuttiness, and it just keeps unfolding as you drink it. Half bottle is actually ideal because a little goes a long way with something this rich.
