Jorge Castillo VIPsAllowed — Christmas gift that I ended up keeping
9/10

Got this as a gift for my dad but opened it early to "check it was ok" and never looked back. The caramel and walnut thing going on is gorgeous, and it's got this lovely warming quality without burning your throat like some ports do. Ended up buying another bottle for dad. Worth every penny at £44.

Ingrid Holm VIPsAllowed — Nice but not sure about the price
7/10

Tried this at a wine bar and liked it enough to grab a bottle. It's smooth and the dried fruit flavours are really nice, proper butterscotch vibes. But £44 is a lot for a 10 year tawny when there are decent ones for half that. Would buy again on offer.

Alex Ramos VIPsAllowed — Getting into port and this is a great start
8/10

I'm pretty new to port but this Niepoort is making me a convert. There's a spicy warmth to it that keeps you sipping, and I love the apricot and caramel notes. At 20% it's strong but doesn't taste it which is frankly dangerous. Had it with some dark chocolate and it was unreal.
