Had this at a friend's house and it's a cool concept — champagne designed to drink on ice. It's got a nice sweetness to it and the fruit comes through well even when it's really cold. Bit pricey for what it is though, I'd probably just get a good prosecco for half the price if I'm chucking ice in it anyway.

I'm not usually a champagne person but the guy in the wine shop recommended this and said to serve it with loads of ice. Honestly thought he was winding me up but it's really well balanced — sweet enough to be easy drinking but there's a freshness that stops it being sickly. Will definitely be buying more for the garden this year.

Bought a bottle for my wife's birthday barbecue and it was a massive hit. You're meant to pour it over ice which sounds mad for champagne but it genuinely works — stays fruity and fresh even as the ice melts. At £56.50 it's not cheap but for a special occasion it felt worth every penny.
