View All (7)I've been drinking wine for about five years now and this genuinely surprised me. There's a lot going on — layers of flavour that keep changing as you drink. The honey comes through but it doesn't make it sickly. Would absolutely buy this again.
10 March 2026Bought a couple of bottles from the Lindisfarne shop on holiday. It's a nice conversation starter at dinner parties because everyone wants to know what black beer and honey wine actually is. Drinks well enough and the alcohol is nicely hidden for 14%, but it's more of an occasional curiosity than a regular buy.
3 March 2026Got this as a birthday present from someone who knows I like trying different wines. It's definitely interesting — you can really smell it as soon as you pour, very distinctive. Decent enough but I probably wouldn't go out of my way to buy another bottle.
