9/10

My wife got this for my 40th and honestly it was the highlight of the night. Really crisp and clean with loads going on if you pay attention — not one of those champagnes that just tastes like fizzy wine. At £44 it's not cheap but for a Grand Cru it's actually pretty fair. Would absolutely buy again for a special occasion.

We had this with seafood pasta and it was lovely. The bubbles are really fine and it's got this clean finish that makes you want to keep drinking. Not too heavy, not too light. I don't know loads about champagne but this felt like proper quality stuff.

Haruki Sato VIPsAllowed — Nice but not sure it's worth the price

Picked this up after the guy at my local wine shop recommended it. It's good — bright and fresh with a bit more depth than your average champagne. But at £44 I kept thinking I could get two decent Crémants for that. If you're treating yourself it's solid, just didn't blow me away enough to justify the cost.
