Haruki Sato VIPsAllowed — Birthday treat that delivered
9/10

Bought this for my wife's birthday after the guy at our local wine shop recommended it. Really clean and crisp with a sort of chalky mineral thing going on that made it feel proper classy. The bubbles are fine and it just keeps getting better the more you drink. At £64 it's not cheap but honestly felt worth it for a special occasion.

Tyler Bennet VIPsAllowed — Proper grower champagne
8/10

Been getting into grower champagnes lately and picked this Lassaigne up from an online shop. Pure Chardonnay, blanc de blancs, and you can really taste the chalk terroir coming through. Loved how restrained and focused it is — no showing off, just really well-made fizz. The finish lingers nicely without overstaying its welcome.

Ravi Krishnan VIPsAllowed — Nice but steep for a weeknight
7/10

Had this at a friend's dinner party and thought it was lovely — really precise and not too heavy at 12.5%. Good acidity, kept wanting another sip. Looked up the price afterwards though and £64 is a lot when you can get solid champagne for £35-40. Would happily drink it again if someone else is buying.
