Kofi Asante VIPsAllowed — Classy rosé champagne
8/10

Picked this up after reading about Gosset online and I'm impressed. The nose is gorgeous, really draws you in without being over the top. Proper depth to it too, not just a pretty pink fizz. At 12.5% it's easy drinking but there's enough going on to keep you interested.

Had this at a friend's dinner party and it was good, don't get me wrong. Clean, balanced, nice acidity that kept it fresh. But at £70 a bottle I think you can find rosé champagnes that punch just as hard for less. Would drink it again if someone else was buying though.

Ruth Banks VIPsAllowed — Goes down dangerously easy

The wine shop guy recommended this when I said I wanted something a bit different for our anniversary dinner. Really layered — you keep finding new things as you sip it. Not too sweet despite the name, the acidity keeps everything in check. We finished the bottle before the main course arrived which says it all really.
