Had this at a friend's dinner party and immediately wanted to know what it was. Really elegant pink champagne with a nice baked apple flavour and a dry finish that keeps you coming back for more. Tracked a bottle down online — pricey but I get why people rate Duval-Leroy.

Picked this up for our anniversary dinner and it was perfect. Really smooth and creamy with a chalky dry finish that stopped it being too sweet. The Pinot Noir really comes through. We demolished the bottle before the main course arrived.

Saw this on a restaurant wine list and thought I'd give it a go. It's a solid rosé champagne — nice fizz, pleasant biscuity flavours, dry finish. But at this price point I expected to be more wowed than I was. I've had champagnes at £45 that gave me more excitement.
