Jason Steel VIPsAllowed — Nice but not £120 nice
5/10

Had this at a restaurant and thought it was decent but honestly a bit overhyped for the price. It's creamy and smooth with some pear and floral notes, sure, but I've had Burgundy Chardonnays at half the price that got me just as excited. Would drink again if someone else was buying.

Sophie Brennan VIPsAllowed — That almond thing is gorgeous

I'm not usually a big white wine person but this converted me for an evening. There's this amazing almond-pastry thing going on alongside the pear that I wasn't expecting at all. Really smooth and the finish just keeps going. Treated myself and no regrets.

Picked this up for my wife's birthday dinner and we both really enjoyed it. Lovely pear flavour and something almost nutty going on, like almonds? The finish goes on forever which was nice to just sit and enjoy. Only gripe is £120 is steep — I'd want to save it for a proper occasion.
