Thomas Weber VIPsAllowed — The glow-up bottle actually backs it up
9/10

Saw this behind the bar at a fancy restaurant and couldn't resist — the luminous bottle is a proper showstopper. Half expected it to be all packaging and no substance but the wine itself is seriously good. Bright and fresh with real structure, not sweet or showy at all. Stayed with me long after the last sip. Special occasion only at that price but genuinely memorable.

Bought this for our 25th wedding anniversary and wow. The bubbles are so fine and elegant, and it just keeps revealing new flavours the longer you sit with it. At over a grand it's obviously not an everyday thing but for a once-in-a-lifetime celebration it absolutely delivered. The rosé colour in that glowing bottle is stunning on a dinner table too.

Simon Hughes VIPsAllowed — Incredible but hard to justify the price
8/10

Tried this at a friend's NYE party and it's genuinely fantastic champagne. Beautiful acidity, loads of depth, and that magnum format means it pours brilliantly all night. But £1100 is a LOT of money. I've had standard Dom Pérignon rosé vintages that got me 85% of the way there for a fraction of the cost. If someone else is buying though, absolutely say yes.
