Camila Ortiz VIPsAllowed — Really impressed with this one
8/10

Picked this up from a local wine shop on a whim and glad I did. Properly dark and fruity with a nice tannic grip — you can tell it's a serious Cahors without being heavy-handed. Had it with a slow-cooked beef stew and it was perfect. Would definitely buy again at £20.

8/10

The wine shop guy recommended this when I said I wanted something from southwest France and he nailed it. Really expressive nose, loads of dark fruit, and it opens up beautifully after 20 minutes. Paired it with lamb chops and it was spot on. £20.50 feels fair for the quality.

Ayako Hirano VIPsAllowed — Solid dinner party wine
7/10

Bought a couple of bottles for a dinner party and everyone enjoyed it. It's got that proper French structure to it with good dark berry flavours and a clean finish. At 14% it packs a punch too. Decent value, wouldn't hesitate to serve it to guests again.
