View All (6)Picked this up after the guy at my local wine shop recommended it. For a Beaujolais it's got way more going on than I expected — proper depth and the fruit is really clean and bright. At £27.75 it's not cheap for a weeknight bottle but I'd definitely buy it again for a nice dinner.
14 March 2026Bought this for a dinner party and it went down well with everyone. Nice bright fruit, not too heavy despite being 14% which surprised me. Good wine, does what it should, though I've had Chiroubles at lower price points that I enjoyed just as much.
8 March 2026It's fine. Pleasant enough, clean finish, easy to drink. But nearly £28 for a Chiroubles feels steep when you can get great cru Beaujolais for less. I kept wanting it to wow me and it just... didn't quite get there.
