View All (6)Nice Sangiovese, proper and full-bodied without being too heavy. I got a lot of blackcurrant and something almost chocolatey on the nose which was a pleasant surprise. Tannins are there but they don't dry your mouth out. Good dinner party wine.
1 March 2026Saw this on a restaurant menu and loved it so much I tracked down a bottle to buy. The dark chocolate and vanilla on the nose drew me in and the palate just keeps giving — black fruit, smoke, savoury depth. Genuinely one of the best sub-£20 reds I've had in ages. Already ordered more.
20 February 2026Picked this up from a local wine shop on the guy's recommendation and glad I did. Loads of dark fruit — plum and blackberry especially — and it's got this smoky thing going on that I really liked. Had it with a slow-cooked beef ragu and it was perfect. Would definitely buy again at £19.50.
