View All (6)Goes brilliantly with a curry or a pizza on a Friday night. I know wine people will roll their eyes but there's genuine flavour here — proper fruit notes and a nice long finish. At £10.75 a bottle I'm not complaining one bit. Picked up three bottles last weekend.
15 November 2025Look, it's Buckfast. It's fine for what it is. There's a decent bit of acidity that stops it being totally flat and sweet, but it's not something I'd pour for guests. For a tenner you can do better if you're after an actual red wine.
14 November 2025Saw all the memes about Buckfast and figured I'd actually try it properly out of a wine glass instead of the bottle. The acidity gives it a decent backbone and there's more complexity than it has any right to have at this price. Not the best red I've ever had but genuinely not bad either.
