Maxwell Green — Opened up beautifully over dinner

Brought this to a dinner party and it was a hit. First pour was already impressive but it got even better as the evening went on, loads of depth and complexity. Really clean finish too, nothing harsh or overpowering. At 12.5% it's dangerously easy to drink for how good it is.

My mate works in wine and told me to try Bollinger PN if I ever got the chance. Finally splashed out on the magnum for my 40th. Genuinely incredible — really rich and layered but not heavy at all, and the finish just goes on and on. I don't give 10s lightly but this earned it.

Bought this magnum for our anniversary dinner and wow. The bubbles are so fine and it just keeps giving you more to taste the longer it sits in the glass. At £210 it's not an everyday thing obviously but for a celebration it's hard to beat. We finished the whole magnum between two of us, no regrets.
