Nice champagne, don't get me wrong. Clean finish, proper depth to it, and the bubbles are fine and persistent. But at £68.75 I'd want a bit more wow factor. I've had similarly enjoyable bottles for £15-20 less. Would probably buy again on offer though.

I've been getting more into champagne lately and this small producer stuff is just on another level compared to the big brands. Manon Boutillez-Guer clearly knows what she's doing. Structured, balanced, with a finish that just quietly lingers. Not cheap but I'd rather have one glass of this than three of something forgettable.

Picked this up after the guy at my local wine shop recommended it. It's a Blanc de Blancs with no added sugar (brut nature) and you can really tell — it's bone dry and has this lovely sharp acidity that keeps you going back for more. Great with oysters if you're feeling fancy.
