Louis Roederer delivers a champagne of real quality here — Pinot Noir at its best (magnum), offering prestige at £1500.00.

Daniel Oyama VIPsAllowed — Birthday splurge that delivered
9/10

My wife turned 50 and I went all in with the magnum. The bubbles are so fine and creamy, and there's this amazing bread and peach thing going on that just keeps evolving in the glass. At £1500 it's obviously insane money but honestly for a once-in-a-lifetime occasion it felt worth every penny. We were still talking about it the next morning.

Ravi Krishnan VIPsAllowed — The best rosé champagne I've ever had

Saw this on a wine list and our table decided to just go for it. Glad we did. There's a lemon curd richness to it but it stays so fresh and precise, and the finish is salty in this really compelling way. Pure Pinot Noir doing its thing at the highest level. Special stuff.

Had this at a friend's wedding and wow, it's seriously good champagne. Really elegant, lovely almond and citrus flavours that linger forever. I'd give it a 9 if I didn't know the price — knowing it's £1500 for a magnum makes me think you could find something nearly as good for a third of that.
