View All (4)Bought this for a dinner party because I liked the label and the name is cool. It's decent — dark and fruity with some spice — but honestly for £20.50 I think you can do better. Also it says Viognier and Marsanne on it which are white grapes?? But it's a red wine?? Confused but it tasted alright with the lamb we had.
26 February 2026Picked this up from a local wine shop on the guy's recommendation and really glad I did. The blackberry and dark fruit flavours are proper intense — almost like a jam but in a good way. At £20 it's a solid buy for a weekend treat. The finish hangs around too, got that cocoa thing going on that I kept going back for.
25 January 2026My partner and I had this with ribeyes last Friday and it was a really good match. Loads of blackcurrant and cherry flavour, and it's got this smoky peppery edge that worked perfectly with the charred bits. Not too heavy either at 12% so we split a second bottle without regretting it Saturday morning.
