Erik Strom VIPsAllowed — Fine but expected more from Pieropan
5/10

I've had other Pieropan wines before and rate them highly, so maybe my expectations were too high here. It's perfectly drinkable and clean, but for nearly £11 for a half bottle you're paying over £20 equivalent for a full one. Decent enough on its own but I'd probably just spend a bit more and get something with more going on.

7/10

The guy in my local wine shop suggested this when I said I wanted something Italian and interesting but not too pricey. It's really well balanced and the finish keeps you coming back for another sip. Half bottle was perfect for a Tuesday night with some pasta. Would buy again.

Mia Sundberg VIPsAllowed — Solid Soave for a dinner party
6/10

Bought a few of these half bottles for a dinner party so people could try different wines without us opening loads of full bottles. Everyone liked it — nice clean nose, good fruit, and that 14% gives it a bit of depth without being boozy. Not life-changing but a reliable pick.
