Got this for a dinner party starter and it went down fine — smooth, well balanced, nothing to complain about flavour-wise. But £21.50 for a half bottle is a lot. You can get a really solid full bottle of red for that money. Would I buy it again? Probably not at that price.

My partner got me this for my birthday and I'm a fan. Really expressive on the nose, you can smell it as soon as you pour it. The balance is spot on and it's got a lovely long finish that makes you want to keep going. Half bottle was actually perfect for sharing between two with dinner.

Saw this on a restaurant menu and decided to try it at home. There's proper complexity here, layers of fruit and acidity that keep it interesting sip after sip. The finish is clean and lingers nicely. At 14% it's got some weight to it but doesn't feel boozy. Solid choice with a lamb stew.
