Erik Strom VIPsAllowed — Great recommendation from the wine shop
8/10

The guy in my local wine shop pointed me towards this when I said I wanted something a bit special but not crazy expensive. It's 100% Chardonnay which apparently makes it a Blanc de Blancs — you can really taste the precision, it's sharp and clean without being harsh. Would definitely buy again.

Served this at our anniversary dinner and everyone asked what it was. It smells amazing straight out of the bottle and the finish is so clean and refreshing. I'm not usually one to spend this much on wine but honestly it felt worth every penny. Already ordered two more bottles.

Kenji Watanabe VIPsAllowed — Nice but maybe a touch overpriced
7/10

Had this at a friend's dinner party and it was solid champagne, no complaints. Good acidity, decent bubbles, clean finish. But at nearly £47 a bottle I'd probably look elsewhere for an everyday fizz. For a special occasion though, sure.
