Saw this on the list at a wine bar and thought why not, it's my anniversary. Really glad I did. Incredibly smooth and warm without being boozy, and the aftertaste lingered for ages in the best way. I'm no expert but even I could tell this was special.

Maxwell Green - Once in a lifetime bottle

My father-in-law opened this for his 70th birthday and honestly I don't think I'll ever drink anything this good again. Forty years old and it still tasted alive — warm and rich but not heavy at all. At £750 it's obviously not an everyday thing but for a really special occasion it was worth every penny.

Tiffany Nguyen - Stunning port, just stunning

Tried this at a port tasting event and it blew everything else on the table away. Super smooth for 20% — you'd never guess the alcohol was that high. The finish just goes on and on, really clean and elegant. Niepoort clearly know what they're doing with aged stuff like this.

Yasmine Najjar - Beautiful but hard to justify the price

A friend brought this round for a dinner party and it was genuinely fantastic — complex, balanced, the kind of thing that changes a bit every time you take a sip. But £750 is £750. I'd have it again in a heartbeat if someone else is buying, put it that way.
