Jake Morrison VIPsAllowed - Great with cheese
8/10

Picked this up for a dinner party and served it with a big cheese board. The sweetness works brilliantly with stilton and the nutty flavours go perfectly with hard cheeses. Two of my mates have already asked me where I got it.

8/10

Had this at a friend's house after a big roast and went straight out to buy a bottle. It's sweet but not in a sickly way, there's something nutty and caramelly going on that keeps it interesting. Really smooth finish too.

Marcus Chen VIPsAllowed - Birthday treat that delivered
9/10

Got this as a birthday present to myself and no regrets. Smells amazing — like butterscotch and dried fruit — and every sip reveals something new. At 20% it's got a kick but it's so smooth you barely notice. Will be buying again.

Jason Steel VIPsAllowed - Christmas day winner
9/10

Bought this for Christmas dinner and it was the star of the show. The butterscotch and dried fruit flavours are gorgeous — everyone was fighting over the last glass. At £44.50 it's not cheap but for a 20 year old port I think it's actually pretty fair.

Isabella Rossi VIPsAllowed - Good but I expected more
7/10

The guy at the wine shop talked me into this over the 10 year old. It's nice, definitely get the walnut and dried apricot thing, but honestly I'm not sure it's worth double the price. I'd probably stick with the cheaper one next time.

Natasha Volkov VIPsAllowed - Bit pricey for a weeknight
7/10

It's a solid port, don't get me wrong. Nice caramel finish and the dried fruit comes through really well. But at £44.50 I'd save it for special occasions. For casual drinking there are decent tawny ports at half the price.

Ruth Banks VIPsAllowed - Converted me to port
9/10

I've never really been into port but my dad poured me a glass of this after Sunday lunch and honestly it blew me away. It's rich and complex without being heavy, and that butterscotch sweetness is just right. Now I get what all the fuss is about.

Grace Kim VIPsAllowed - Saw this on a menu and tracked it down
8/10

Had a glass of this at a restaurant and couldn't stop thinking about it. Finally found a bottle online. The apricot and walnut notes are spot on, and it's got this long warm finish that just keeps going. Really lovely stuff.
