Bought this for my parents' 60th wedding anniversary and it was the star of the evening. The dried fruit flavours are incredible — like nothing I've tasted before. It just lingers forever after each sip. At £255 it's not cheap but for a 1964 wine it felt like a bargain honestly.

My wife got me this for my 60th birthday and wow. So complex and layered but not heavy at all, which surprised me at 20% ABV. You'd think something this old would be syrupy but it's actually really clean and balanced. I rationed it over three nights because I didn't want it to end.

Saw this on a restaurant wine list and decided to treat myself to a glass. The aromatics hit you straight away — so much going on. Rich dried fruit, perfectly balanced acidity, and a finish that just won't quit. Went back and ordered a second glass which tells you everything.

Tried this at a port tasting event and it's genuinely stunning wine. Beautiful depth and the finish goes on and on. But at £255 a bottle I'm not sure I'd buy it myself when there are solid colheitas from the 80s for a fraction of the price.

Had this at a friend's dinner party and everyone was raving about it. It's very nice don't get me wrong, lovely long finish and clearly well made. But I'm not sure I could tell the difference between this and a decent 30-year tawny in a blind tasting. Maybe my palate isn't refined enough.

I don't know much about port but I'm trying to learn and this was recommended on a forum. It's seriously good. Everything about it feels balanced and the taste stays with you for ages after each sip. Not an everyday buy at that price but as an occasional treat it's hard to beat.

Picked this up on a trip to Porto last year. We opened it at Christmas with some stilton and walnuts and it was perfect. Really elegant for something at 20% — you barely notice the alcohol. Only wish it wasn't quite so pricey so I could drink it more often.

The guy at the wine shop talked me into this and I'm glad he did. It's from 1964! The dried fruit and wood character is so well balanced, nothing feels out of place. Definitely a sipping wine — we had small glasses after dinner and it lasted ages.
