Nia Okafor VIPsAllowed - Nice introduction to port
7/10

I'm not usually a port drinker but someone brought this to a dinner party and I was surprised how much I liked it. Sweet but not too sweet, and there's a proper depth to it that kept me going back for another glass. £15 feels about right for what you get.

Not going to blow your mind but it does the job well. Nice smooth finish and the berry notes are properly there, not just on the label. Poured this with some stilton on a cheese board and it went down a treat.

Picked this up from Majestic on a whim and honestly really impressed. Lovely dark berry flavours and it's sweet without being sickly — that little bit of sharpness keeps it balanced. At £15 this is now my go-to port for after dinner.

Finn OBrien VIPsAllowed - Good but not amazing
6/10

My mate recommended this and it's decent enough. Bit boozy on the nose for me at 20% but once you get past that the fruit comes through nicely. I'd probably spend a few quid more and get something with a bit more going on next time though.

Annika Svensson VIPsAllowed - Christmas dinner winner
8/10

Bought a couple of bottles for Christmas dinner and everyone loved it. Really smooth, no harsh alcohol burn even though it's 20%. The dark fruit flavour lingers for ages and it went perfectly with the chocolate torte. Will definitely be buying again.
